Short Bio for Bob and Spencer Bishop
Both Bob and Spencer grew up in the Kansas City area, attending Shawnee Mission South High School. While there, both were involved in many activities including Football and Student Council. In fact, both served as captain of the team their senior years and both also served as Student Council President as seniors. They truly enjoyed their experience and have always felt a good connection to the KC area as a result of their involvement in High School.
Upon graduating from SMS, both went on to the University of Kansas. Although there at different times, both were still involved in similar activities - Greek Leadership, Rock Chalk Revue, Various Philanthropies and Bar/Restaurant Management. Bob graduated with a degree in Business ('99) while Spencer graduated with a degree in Business Communications ('02).
Following KU, Bob went on to work several years for Accenture while Spencer, having earned his real estate license while still in college, signed on with Prudential Henry and Burrows (now Prudential Kansas City). Eventually, worn down by the weekly travel schedule, Bob joined Spencer and the two moved over to ERA Manning and Associates in early 2004.
Entering their 7th year working together in Kansas City Real Estate Sales, the two can boast many achievements. - Over $50 Million in Total Closed Sales Volume (over 200 closed transactions) - 6-Time winners of KC Magazine's 5-Star Best In Customer Satisfaction Award - 5 years in a row earning ERA's Beyond Excellence rating given to top Teams - Ranked #23 out of 422 ERA Teams Nationwide in 2009 - Multi-Million Dollar Producers Every Year in Business
In their spare time, Bob and Spencer Bishop volunteer as the head coaches for a grade school tackle football team from the Shawnee Mission South Area. In 2007, they coached the boys to a 7-1 regular season second place finish! In 2008, the same group of boys finished 4-3-1, good for a 3rd place finish.
